Jane van Laar

Jane Van Laar is an experienced broadcast journalist and editor with a strong background in media production and research. Currently serving as Eindredacteur at NTR for NPOKlassiek since December 2022, Jane's prior role as Senior Broadcast Journalist at Nieuwsuur spanned from December 2008 to December 2022, focusing on healthcare, artificial intelligence, and climate issues. Jane's career began with traineeships at idtv and NOVA in 2004 and 2007 respectively, and included a previous position as editor of classical music at NTR in 2007-2008. Jane holds a Master's degree in Research and Media Production and a Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, both from the University of Amsterdam.
