Maartje Braam is an experienced professional in the fields of media and psychology. Currently serving as a Programmamaker and Coördinator at NTR since July 2021, Maartje works on television, radio, and podcast programs focused on current affairs, culture, and science. Prior experience includes coordinating a writing skills course as a Docent psychologie at Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam from August 2019 to September 2023, and conducting research on the acceptance of sexual education in Ghana as an Onderzoeksstagiaire at Youth Harvest Foundation Ghana in 2018. Additionally, Maartje held the position of Assistent-bedrijfsleider at Lumière Cinema Restaurant Café from September 2016 to August 2017. Maartje holds a Master's degree in Psychology with a focus on Behavioural Change from Radboud University, alongside a Post-HBO in Journalism from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, and relevant bachelor's degrees from Tilburg University, Maastricht University, and Uniwersytet SWPS.
