Kate Lim

Kate Lim is a Consultant Speech Therapist and Counsellor at akindplace.co since February 2024, specializing in speech and language therapy, caregiver support, and special needs work. Currently serving as a Senior Speech Therapist at NTUC Health Co-operative Limited since May 2023, Kate manages home-based patients with acquired communication and swallowing disorders and provides caregiver training. Kate is also an Adjunct Faculty member at the College of Allied Educators, teaching modules related to neuro-developmental and learning disorders. Further experience includes facilitating problem-based learning at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and delivering early intervention therapy at The SKILT Centre. Previous roles include locum positions at Raffles Medical Group and NTUC Health Co-operative Limited, along with volunteering as a locum speech therapist at St Luke's ElderCare Ltd. Kate holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from Flinders University and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Special Educational Needs from the University of South Wales.
