Steven Teo

Steven Teo has a diverse work experience in the insurance and financial industry. Steven currently holds the position of Chief Partnership Distribution Officer at Income since April 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the VP & Head of Partnership Distribution at Income from March 2019 to April 2023. Previously, they worked as the Head of Distribution at China Life Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. from August 2015 to February 2019. Steven also gained experience at China Life Insurance Co.Ltd, where they held positions such as Deputy General Manager, Distribution Department from July 2016 to February 2018, and Principal Business Development Manager from August 2015 to July 2016. Before that, they worked as a Director at Aon Risk Solutions from April 2014 to December 2014, and as a Business Development Director (Regional) at finexis advisory Pte Ltd from December 2012 to March 2014. Earlier in their career, they worked at UOB as a VP, Bancassurance Advisor from April 2011 to November 2012, and at DBS Bank as a Treasures Bancassurance Specialist from January 2010 to March 2011. Steven started their career as a Financial Consultant at Prudential Assurance Company Singapore from August 2006 to December 2009.

Steven Teo received a STEP Certificate in International Trust Management (Distinction) from CLT International in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a ChFC degree in Financial Planning from the Singapore College of Insurance between 2007 and 2009. In 2007, they also completed an AEPP degree in Estate Planning from Wealth College. Steven holds a Diploma in Community Services Management from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, which they obtained from 1999 to 2002. In 1996, they completed their O Levels at Gan Eng Seng School.
