Shelly Carter

Shelly Carter has extensive experience in the healthcare and social care sector, with a focus on promoting person-centered planning and support for individuals with various disabilities and mental health difficulties. In their current role as Regional Manager at Nua Healthcare Services, Shelly oversees residential centers across Ireland, ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and managing staff, budgets, and rosters. Prior to this, Shelly worked in roles such as Team Leader/Person in Charge, Independent Living at the Irish Wheelchair Association, and as a Social Care Worker at TTM Healthcare Group and ST Josephs. Shelly holds a Post Grad in Business Management, B.A Hons in Applied Social Studies-Disability, and a Leaving Certificate from St Pauls Secondary School Oughterard.
