Alireza Sharifi, PhD, CISSP has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Alireza is the Co-Founder and Fractional CTO of NuBinary, a consulting firm that helps companies create and commercialize innovative technology products. Alireza has also worked as a Security Consultant at RideCo and Tangam Systems, and as a Senior Software Consultant at Sealand Quality Foods, Altius Analytics Labs, and Car Media 2.0.Alireza has experience as an ML Consultant at SmartCocoon and as a Fractional CTO at CleanScan and Psymood. Alireza has also been involved in various research and teaching roles at Conestoga College, Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Waterloo, and Sheridan. Alireza was a Principal Investigator at Conestoga Research, Innovation & Entrepreneurship and has worked on projects related to machine learning and software development. Alireza has also worked as a Vulnerability Researcher at TELUS and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Teaching Assistant, and Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo. Alireza holds a PhD and CISSP certification.

Alireza Sharifi, PhD, CISSP, has an extensive education history. Alireza obtained their PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in Software Engineering, from the University of Waterloo in 2013. Prior to that, they completed their MSc. in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Communications, at Sharif University of Technology from 2006 to 2008. Alireza's educational journey began at the University of Tehran, where they earned their BSc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specifically in Communications, from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their academic achievements, they have also obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification through (ISC)² in 2019.
