Danielle McLean

Danielle McLean has worked in a variety of roles in the medical writing field. From 2018 to present, they have served as Director of Medical Writing, Medical Writing Manager, and Principal Medical Writer at NuCana plc. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Senior Medical Writer and Medical Writer at Chiltern. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Medical Writer and Associate Medical Writer at Quintiles. In 2012, they held the role of Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Vermont and Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of South Florida. In 2010, they were a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University. Finally, from 2005 to 2010, they were a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh.

Danielle McLean began their education in 1989 at Moffat Academy. Danielle then attended The University of Edinburgh from 2001 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biological Sciences. In 2005 to 2006, they earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Life Sciences from The University of Edinburgh. Finally, Danielle McLean completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cardiovascular Science from The University of Edinburgh in 2006 to 2009.
