Mandeep Singh, PhD, PMP® has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry and pharmaceuticals. Mandeep currently serves as the Co-Head (CMC) & Senior Scientist II at NuChem Sciences, where they are responsible for the smooth operations of the CMC lab and provides training to enhance the skills of the group. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Scientist I and a Scientist at the same company.

Before joining NuChem Sciences, Mandeep worked as a Research Scientist at DE Synthetics, where they successfully completed several oncology projects assigned by clients and optimized processes by designing alternative synthetic routes. Mandeep also served as a Dr D S Kothari Post-doctoral Fellow at the Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi, where they handled multiple projects, including the synthesis of pyrazino[1,2-a]indol-4(1H)-one.

Mandeep also worked as an Assistant Professor (Ad-hoc) at the University of Delhi, where they taught Medicinal Chemistry to M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) final year students. Mandeep gained further research experience as a Research Scientist at TAPI - Teva Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, where they led a group of chemists in the development of non-infringing reaction optimization strategies for API and their intermediates.

Additionally, Mandeep worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, specializing in the synthesis and characterization of thioglycolurils for the construction of new host systems. Mandeep also held the position of Senior Research Fellow and completed their Ph.D. at the National Chemical Laboratory, where they focused on the development of chemoselective coupling reactions and their successful application in the synthesis of Helicobacter pylori antibiotics.

Mandeep's early career includes a Junior Research Fellowship and a M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Delhi, where they achieved first rank and received the Gold Medal.

Mandeep dedicated six years, from 2007 to 2013, to conducting in-depth research and contributing to the field of Organic Chemistry.
