Avital L. Polsky has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of quality assurance, regulatory affairs, clinical research, and molecular biology.

Starting in 2022, Polsky served as a QA Manager at Nucleai. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2022, they held the role of Director of Regulatory Affairs, QA, and Clinical Research at Embryonics, where they played a key role in obtaining CE marking for the company's first medical device and established the Quality Assurance workflow. They also led the clinical research department and collaborated with different departments to translate ideas into products for IVF clinicians and patients.

From 2016 to 2019, Polsky worked as a Research Associate at Tel Aviv University's Laboratory of Prof. Noam Shomron. Here, they were involved in various tasks such as nucleic acid purification, mouse colony maintenance, and NGS library preparation using the ONT MinION platform.

Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, Polsky worked as a Lab Technician at the Technion Genome Center, where they focused on NGS library preparation and operated the Illumina HiSeq 2500 and MiSeq instruments.

Polsky began their career in 2011 as a Masters Student at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology's Laboratory of Prof. Itai Yanai. They conducted research on developmental tradeoffs in embryogenesis, including nematode culture, RNA extraction, and NGS library preparation.

Before starting their master's program, from 2008 to 2011, Polsky worked as a Professional Research Assistant at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center, contributing to projects involving cloning and recombinant protein transformations.

In 2007, Polsky started their research career as a Research Assistant at New Mexico State University.

Overall, Polsky has a strong background in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, clinical research, NGS library preparation, and molecular biology techniques.

Avital L. Polsky obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology and Philosophy from New Mexico State University. This educational achievement took place between 2002 and 2008. Avital further pursued higher education at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biology from 2011 to 2014.
