Gali Golan

Gali Golan has a diverse work experience in the field of product management and computational drug discovery. Gali is currently employed as a Senior Product Manager at Nucleai, starting in November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Evogene from 2015 to 2021, where they held various roles including Product Manager- ChemPass, Computational Product Management team leader, and Technology Platform Product Manager. Gali also served as a Principle Scientist, Translational Bioinformatics at Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc from 2012 to 2015, and as a Senior Scientist, Computational Drug Discovery at Dynamix Pharmaceuticals from 2010 to 2012.

Earlier in their career, Gali Golan worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Technion- Israel Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2010, focusing on the three-dimensional structure of human Heparanase. Gali also worked as a Senior Scientist, Computational Drug Discovery at epix pharmaceuticals from 2007 to 2009, where they led successful collaboration programs and conducted screening and lead optimization programs using computational methodologies.

Gali Golan's educational background includes a PhD from Hebrew University, which they completed summa cum laude. Gali'sPhD research was supervised by Prof. Gil Shoham and Prof. Avi Bino.

Overall, Gali Golan has extensive experience in product management, computational drug discovery, and translational bioinformatics, with a strong background in scientific research and expertise in molecular biology and protein expression.

Gali Golan completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Biomedical Management from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2007, Gali pursued a Ph.D. in chemistry/structural biology at the same university. In the earlier stages of Gali's education, from 1998 to 2001, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Chemistry along with participation in the "Amirim" Excellence Program at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
