Tom Gibbs

Tom Gibbs possesses extensive experience in business development, investment management, and operational leadership within the pharmaceutical and biopharma sectors. Currently, as Investment Director at Debiopharm Innovation Fund since 2012, Tom Gibbs focuses on building a smart data portfolio, identifying and structuring investment opportunities, and providing investor representation on boards. Previous roles include Director of BD&L and Director at Debiopharm Diagnostics, where Tom managed in- and out-licensing and alliance management. Tom Gibbs has also held positions in business development and operations at Parker Hannifin, Med Discovery, Covalys Biosciences, Cytion SA, Molecular Devices Corp, and Delta Biotechnology. Tom Gibbs holds a PhD in Microbial Genetics from the University of Warwick and a BSc in Applied Biology from the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology.
