Janet Bivens

Janet Bivens is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and technical support within the naval defense sector. Currently serving as Project Engineering Manager at NAC International since November 2019, Janet previously held positions at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Norfolk Naval Shipyard, where responsibilities included managing project schedules, providing technical expertise, and ensuring compliance with military specifications for radiological materials. Janet's career also includes engineering roles at Newport News Shipbuilding and a background as a Candidate Recruiter for military personnel transitioning to civilian roles. With a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University and a strong foundation in nuclear propulsion from service in the US Navy, Janet is recognized for leadership skills and technical proficiency in complex engineering environments.
