Jason Walker

Jason Walker is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in project management and technical leadership within the nuclear and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Decommissioning Unit Manager at Nuclear Fuel Services since March 2014, Jason previously held roles including Engineering Manager II at Newport News Energy and Newport News Shipbuilding, where responsibilities encompassed project development, maintenance engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives for Navy systems. Earlier career experiences include positions as a Readiness Engineer at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems and an Entrepreneur at GS Tower Services, combined with foundational roles in construction estimation and electrical maintenance during service in the U.S. Coast Guard. Jason holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of New Mexico.
