Jan Venne is currently a Doctoral Researcher at AstraZeneca and the University of Cambridge, focusing on peptide discovery for targeted drug delivery. They also support the UK expansion of the deeptech incubator 5050, aimed at assisting scientists and budding entrepreneurs. Jan has previously conducted research at Maastricht University and the University of Oxford, where they investigated tuberculosis mechanisms and characterized novel proteolytic targeting chimeras, respectively. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Maastricht University and are pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge.
