Vignesh Vanchinathan currently serves as a member of the Leadership Team for the Baltimore Chapter of Nucleate and as a Design Team Leader at the Johns Hopkins Center for Bioengineering Innovation & Design. Vignesh is involved with MagGenix as part of the Computational Team and provides lifeguard and fitness attendant services at The Johns Hopkins University. Previous experiences include developing algorithms in the Bader Lab at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, interning at Kano Therapeutics where Vignesh improved ssDNA production yield, and working as a summer intern at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, focusing on scRNA-seq analysis. Vignesh founded the BioBuilderClub at Westborough High School and has contributed as a Teaching Assistant in biodesign and synthetic biology projects. Vignesh is pursuing dual Bachelor's degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Applied Mathematics and Statistics at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, expected to graduate in 2025.
