Michael Karberg

Chief Scientist at Nuclein

Michael Karberg has a strong background in scientific research and development. Michael began their career at Zymo Research Corp in 2006 as a Scientist in the R&D department. After three years, they moved on to Life Technologies, where they held the positions of Senior Scientist in R&D for Molecular Biology Reagents from 2010 to 2012, and then Senior Scientist in Animal Health and Food Safety from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as the Manager of Animal Health & Food Safety in Custom Products R&D. Most recently, in 2017, they became part of Nuclein as a Principal Scientist, and later transitioned to the role of Chief Scientist in May 2022.

Michael Karberg has a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Genetics from The Ohio State University. Michael also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Austin. No specific start or end years are provided for either degree.
