Olivier Marcotte has a diverse work experience. Olivier is the founder and CEO of Nucléom, a consulting company that provides advanced non destructive testing services for the nuclear industry. Prior to this, they worked as a project manager at Zetec, focusing on high complexity nondestructive inspection systems. Olivier also served as a project manager at Métaletc. In the early stages of their career, they interned at IASP - International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation and the European Southern Observatory.
Olivier Marcotte pursued their education from 2001 to 2006 at Université Laval, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics. During their academic journey, Olivier also had the opportunity to study abroad at the Technical University of Munich from 2004 to 2005, focusing on Physics.
