David Sheehan has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. David began their career in 1991 as a Business Unit Manager at Haemonetics. In 1997, they moved to Baxter Healthcare Corporation as the VP of Sales, Marketing and Business Development. In 1999, they became the President and CEO of Rapidcare. In 2000, they were hired as the President of the service division at Digirad and was later promoted to CEO. From 2005 to 2008, they were an Investor and CEO of various start-up companies. In 2008, they became the COO of Volcano Corporation, a publicly traded image guided therapy company, which was sold to Philips for $1.2 Billion in 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Board Member and Partner at Vinci Capital LLC. In 2016, they founded Nucleus Biologics, a company that provides innovative cGMP products to enable transparency, customization and control for the cell and gene therapy market. Currently, they are the Founder, President and CEO of Stoic Bio.
David Sheehan obtained their BS with Distinction in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute between 1982 and 1985. David then attended The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and received their MBA in 1991.
