David Paris Msc. Amirms

David Paris MSc. AMIRMS has extensive work experience in data governance and protection. David is currently the Head of Data Governance and DPO at Nucleus Financial, a role they have held since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Data Governance Lead at Nucleus Financial from June 2021 to July 2022. David has also worked as a Data Protection Officer at Sainsbury's Bank from February 2020 to June 2021 and as a Data Protection Assurance Manager at Sainsbury's Bank from August 2018 to February 2020. Before joining Sainsbury's Bank, they were the Head of Information Governance at Historic Environment Scotland from April 2014 to August 2018. David's earlier positions include serving as an ICT Project Manager at Historic Scotland from April 2012 to May 2014 and as a Project Manager at Historic Scotland from August 2009 to April 2012. Additionally, they currently serve as a Board Trustee at the Scottish Council on Archives since December 2021.

David Paris MSc. AMIRMS began their education at Dunbar Grammar School, where they attended from 1981 to 1988. After completing their secondary education, they went on to study at the University of Dundee. From 2014 to 2017, they pursued a degree in Records Management and Digital Preservation.
