Ben Merritt

Ben Merritt is an experienced production scheduling and management professional with a strong background in analyzing customer requirements and optimizing production processes. Currently, Ben serves as the Owner of Rapid Running Race Management since January 2023. Prior to this role, Ben held various positions including Production Scheduler at Nucraft Furniture, Oliver Packaging and Equipment Company, and Flex-N-Gate, demonstrating expertise in releasing production schedules, conducting physical inventories, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure timely delivery of customer requirements. Additional experience includes serving as a Production Planner at Wynalda Packaging and as an MRP Coordinator at Amway, highlighting skills in inventory management and order processing. Ben began a career in scheduling as a Scheduling Supervisor at CS Manufacturing and as a Master Production Scheduler at Meridian Auto Systems, providing comprehensive production schedules across various manufacturing environments. Ben holds an Associate of Arts degree in Business and Computer Applications from Grand Rapids Community College.
