Nazmul Alam, Ph.D.

Nazmul Alam, Ph.D. has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. Nazmul began their career as an Undergraduate Researcher in RF & Communication at BUET. Nazmul then worked as a Graduate Researcher in BUET - Communication & Communication Channel, and a Lecturer & Member of EE Academic Development at United International University. In 2006, they worked as an Engineering-Intern at Grameenphone Ltd. From 2009 to 2015, they worked at the University of South Carolina as a Postdoctoral Fellow, Graduate Research Assistant, and Graduate Teaching Assistant. In 2013, they worked as an Antenna Designer Intern at BlackBerry. Finally, from 2015 to present, they have worked at NuCurrent as a Principal Magnetics Engineer, Sr Antenna Design Engineer, and Antenna Integration Engineer.

Nazmul Alam, Ph.D. completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology between 2001 and 2006. Nazmul then went on to earn their Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same university between 2007 and 2008. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Microwave Engineering from the University of South Carolina between 2009 and 2013.
