Louise MacDonald, MCSI

Louise MacDonald, MCSI, has a strong background in compliance and risk management. Louise is currently the Head of Compliance at Nude since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Compliance at Cameron Hume Limited from April 2019 to December 2021. Before that, Louise worked at Aberdeen Standard Investments as a Private Markets professional from September 2018 to February 2019. Louise also gained extensive experience at SL Capital Partners LLP, where they worked as a Risk & Compliance Manager from May 2013 to September 2018. Earlier in their career, Louise was a Risk & Compliance Consultant at Standard Life Investments from July 2007 to May 2013.

Louise MacDonald, MCSI, holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree with a focus on Business Studies and Law from Dublin City University, obtained from 1997 to 2001. Louise has pursued further education and obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2012, they earned a Certificate in Operational Risk (merit) from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). Louise went on to complete a Diploma in Regulation & Compliance from the same institution in December 2013. In 2017, they obtained the "Introduction to Investments and Securities" certification from the CISI, followed by the "UK Regulation and Professional Integrity" certification in December of that year. In February 2018, they achieved both the Level 6 Diploma in Investment Compliance and the "Combating Financial Crime" certifications from the CISI. Louise expanded their knowledge and skills in 2021 by completing the "Climate Change Risk in Finance " course at The University of Edinburgh. Finally, in May 2023, they obtained the "Future is FinTech" certification from Canvas Credentials (Badgr). Additionally, they are pursuing an executive program called "Future is Fintech" at The University of Edinburgh, which is expected to be completed in 2023.
