Himamsu Popuri

Himamsu Popuri is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as a member of YPO since April 2024. As the Managing Director and CEO of Nuevosol Energy Pvt Ltd since March 2011, Himamsu has led the company in manufacturing precision components, contributing to the supply of 12GW of solar PV globally, with substantial exports to the USA and Europe. Previous roles include Director at Ilios Power, Senior Engineer at CIRUS SOLAR POWER PRIVATE LIMITED, and Engineer at Solar Semiconductor (P) Ltd, focusing on solar power plant development and optimization. Himamsu began their career with a summer internship at Siemens in 2008. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Technology and a Master of Technology in Mechanical Engineering and Intelligent Manufacturing respectively, both from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
