Pieter Kemps

Pieter Kemps has worked in the tech industry since 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they were the Head of Managed Services, AsiaPacific at Cisco Services. From 2011 to 2014, they were the Head of Business Development & Venture Capital, AsiaPacific at Amazon Web Services. During this time, they set up a team in APAC to establish and manage Amazon's relations with the Venture Capital community in Asia. From 2014 to 2020, they were a Partner at Sequoia Capital, as well as a Principal twice. In 2016, they became a Board Director at Nugit, Funding Societies, and 90 Seconds. In 2017, they became a Board Director at HealthEngine. In 2018, they became a Board Director at Insider. In 2019, they became a Board Director at Zenyum. In 2020, they became a Board Director at Qoala.

Pieter Kemps obtained their MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business in 2011, with a focus in Venture Capital & Entrepreneurship (Summa Cum Laude). From 1994 to 2000, they attended Maastricht University in the Netherlands, where they obtained a Master of Science in International Business Studies. Pieter also holds a Master's degree from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in Spain, in the field of Economia.
