Dan Batten

Dan Batten is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in enterprise architecture and technology leadership. Currently serving as the Head of Enterprise Architecture at Nuix since October 2022, Dan formulates architecture strategies and provides direction on key decisions for delivery teams and executives. Previously, as the Chief Technology Officer at Lupax Pty Ltd, Dan led significant initiatives including the introduction of microservices and the implementation of a NoCodeOps strategy, enhancing operational efficiency. Dan's background includes roles such as Head of Architecture for Payments at FIS and Technical Lead positions at Clear2Pay and State Street Australia, where Dan drove architecture improvements, mentored teams, and successfully introduced Agile methodologies. Dan holds dual degrees in Psychology and Criminology, as well as Economics and Money & Finance from Victoria University of Wellington.
