Rachel Lai

Rachel Lai is an experienced financial accountant currently serving as Group Financial Accountant at Nuix since May 2023, where significant contributions include the design and implementation of a company-wide R&D capitalisation process and the development of a Power BI dashboard for R&D performance tracking. Prior to this role, Rachel worked as an Assistant Manager at KPMG Australia from April 2022 to May 2023, leading a team in auditing a top-tier not-for-profit organization and contributing to the enhancement of KPMG's Audit Model. Earlier experience at PwC Malaysia saw Rachel as a Senior Associate, focusing on technology adoption in assurance practices, and as an Audit Associate, managing client relations and executing audit procedures. Rachel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Exeter and has completed ACCA professional papers, becoming a member of ACCA in January 2022.
