Shumeng Ye

Shumeng Ye's work experience includes serving as the Head of Growth at numa starting in February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Wire™ as the Director of Growth Accounts & Business Operations from May 2019 to February 2022, and as the Head of Business Operations from February 2018 to April 2019. Shumeng also held the role of Product Insight at Wire™ from July 2016 to February 2018. Before their time at Wire™, Shumeng worked as an Android Developer at Wire™ from April 2014 to May 2016. Shumeng has also worked at Zalando as a Regional Business Development Manager for Northern Europe from October 2012 to December 2012, and as a Business Development Manager for Finland from March 2012 to October 2012. Shumeng has previous experience as the Creative Director & Partner at Warrior Footwear, LLC from September 2009 to June 2011, and as the Founder of Nouveau Riche from September 2010 to February 2011. Shumeng was also the Co-Founder of Picmeleo Oy, a new online image editor and tagging tool, from June 2009 to November 2010. In addition, Shumeng worked as a Master's Thesis Worker at Nokia from January 2008 to June 2008, and as a UI Design Intern at Nokia from May 2007 to November 2007. Shumeng began their career as a Web Developer at the Finnish Meteorological Institute from June 2004 to May 2006.

Shumeng Ye began their education in 2001 at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. This program lasted for ten years, concluding in 2010. In 2006, while still enrolled at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, Shumeng Ye also pursued studies in Graphic Design at Taideteollinen korkeakoulu - Konstindustriella högskolan, which lasted for three years until 2009. In 2011, Shumeng Ye attended Hyper Island to further their education in eCommerce Business, completing their studies in 2012.
