Volker Doberanzke, PhD

Volker Doberanzke, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience. Volker is currently a Founding Partner, Chief Strategy Officer, and Member of the Board at Numarics since 2020. Volker was responsible for business transformation and group operations across the company's digital, e-commerce, media, and creative business in various global markets.

From 2019 to 2021, Doberanzke also held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at Paragon Digital Services Pvt Ltd, and from 2012 to 2019, they worked at UBS as the Group Head Process Excellence, Managing Director. At UBS, they developed and executed the operational excellence roadmap globally to position the company as a market leader in terms of efficiency and effectiveness.

Before that, Doberanzke was a Member of the Group Executive Board and Group COO/CFO at Leonteq, a Fintech start-up company for structured investment solutions, from 2009 to 2012. Volker played a key role in developing and executing the COO/CFO-agenda for the company's IPO.

Additionally, Doberanzke served as the CEO and Managing Partner at ProFinCo Management Consulting Ltd from 2007 to 2009. From 2006 to 2007, they were a Member of the Group Executive Board and COO/CFO at Deutsche Industriebank IKB. Prior to that, they worked at Commerzbank AG from 1999 to 2005 as a Member of the Executive Board, Commerz Asset Management Holding, Global COO. In this role, they led a global transformation program for the Asset Management division, resulting in sustainable profitability.

Additionally, they also obtained a PhD from the same university, with their research centered around Corporate Finance and Economics. Furthermore, they participated in the Global Leadership Program at IMD in 2015-2016, enhancing their skills and knowledge in leadership.
