Every child deserves a great education, and numeracy is a crucial part of this.

Yet many children have difficulties with maths, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds.  This stops them reaching their full educational potential.  

Number Champions was founded in 2018 to help children who are falling behind in maths.  We train volunteers to provide one-to-one support to children in state-funded primary schools.   We have developed a wide range of resources and games which our volunteers use in their sessions.

Our volunteers help children build both their skills and their confidence in maths.  

This school year, our wonderful volunteers will support around 400 children in schools across London.  

We thoroughly vet all our volunteers and ensure they have a DBS check before working with children.
