Numen Labs builds the most power-efficient way to move data around the body.

Our patented technology uses magnetic fields to carry data across the body at a fraction of the power of conventional radio. Bluetooth was built for the room, not the body: the body blocks 2.4 GHz signals, so wireless devices burn most of their battery just pushing through it. Numen's link is built for the body itself, so multiple on-body sensors can run for weeks on a single coin cell, with no recharging.

We complement Bluetooth rather than replace it. Our link handles the efficient hops on the body; a hub keeps Bluetooth for the last connection off it.

We supply the ultra-low-power technology and device makers integrate it into their products, from body-worn sensors for industrial safety and sport to hearables, hearing instruments, and the next generation of wearables.

Numen Labs is a deep-tech company based in Montreal, backed by TandemLaunch.

We're starting in elite sports and rehabilitation, where synchronised multi-node sensing breaks down precisely during the movements that matter most.
