Patrick Rice

Patrick Rice has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Patrick started their career as a Consultant at Accenture in 2004 and later worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Dunn Solutions Group, where they excelled in delivering data warehouse solutions and implementing Salesforce CRM.

In 2007, Rice joined WMS Gaming as a BI Engineer and quickly rose through the ranks to become the Director of Business Intelligence. During their tenure, they successfully launched the BI program and expanded its impact across the organization, resulting in significant cost savings and business value.

Rice then joined Amazon in 2012, where they took on multiple roles. As the Manager of Advanced Analytics, they led a data science and analytics group and leveraged machine learning and statistics to improve customer experiences and deliver cost savings for the organization. Later, as the Senior Product Manager, they led the strategic direction and implementation of the Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics team, utilizing statistical methodologies and big data visualization tools to enhance the customer experience.

In 2015, Rice co-founded and served as the CEO of Lumidatum, a pioneer in the AutoML space, aiming to democratize data scientists by providing an AI-powered SaaS platform. After two years, they joined Fooda as the Vice President of Data Science & Analytics, where they led the team in building data engineering, data science, and analytics platforms.

Most recently, Rice joined Numerator in 2021 as the Senior Vice President of Data Science. Patrick is currently responsible for overseeing the company's data science initiatives and driving innovation in the field.

Patrick Rice completed their Bachelor of Science degree in CIS at the University of Dayton. Patrick then pursued an M.B.A. at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, specializing in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Analytical Consulting, from 2009 to 2011.
