Birungi Janat

Birungi Janat has worked in the IT industry since 2017. Birungi began their career as an IT Support at the Ministry of Health in Uganda. In 2018, they joined SafeBoda as a Data Analyst and IT Assistant, where they were responsible for ensuring new app drivers were equipped with the necessary tech to use the SafeBoda mobile application, educating new app drivers to use smartphones, troubleshooting app and phone issues of existing app drivers, identifying process improvements and efficiencies to the driver tech readiness process, and supporting with ad-hoc related IT tasks during the driver onboarding process and across other activities in the Operations team. In 2020, they joined Numida (YC W22) as a Product Analyst, Growth and Product Analyst, and Data Analyst.

Birungi Janat is currently enrolled in the Data Analyst Nanodegree program at Udacity, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Previously, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Computing in Information Technology from Makerere University Business School. In addition, they have also obtained certifications from Corporate Finance Institute and LinkedIn. In July 2022, they earned a Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst certification from Corporate Finance Institute, and in March 2021, they earned an Excel Statistics Essential Training: 1 certification from LinkedIn.
