Ivan Montoya

Ivan Montoya is a seasoned investor and mentor with extensive experience in supporting early-stage startups across Latin America. Currently serving as Managing Partner at NuMundo Ventures since December 2022, Montoya focuses on backing exceptional founders in sectors such as fintech, construction technology, supply chain, and artificial intelligence. As a Latam Super Angel Investor since January 2019, over 50 investments have been made in the region's fintech, logistics, commerce, and proptech markets. Montoya also contributes as a mentor for pre-seed and seed stage startups at Techstars Miami Powered by J.P. Morgan and as a Visiting Partner at Latitud, supporting founders in creating impactful companies. Additionally, Montoya is recognized as a member of the Latitud Angels Fellowship and has been an Angel Fellow with On Deck since March 2022. Montoya holds an MBA and an MA in Education from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and Stanford University, respectively.
