Edward Picco

Edward Picco currently serves as an Adult Educator and Community Adult Educator at Nunavut Arctic College since December 2018. Prior to this role, Edward Picco held the position of Senior Principal at Niksiit Group Ltd. from January to December 2018, and served as Principal Secretary/Chief of Staff to the Premier of Nunavut from June 2014 to October 2017. Edward Picco's career in sales and marketing includes a role as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for First Air from January 2009 to 2014, overseeing regions including Winnipeg, Kivalliq, Qikitanni, Nunavik, and Eastern Centers of Ottawa and Montreal. Edward Picco has also been a Senior Minister in the Government of Nunavut from April 1999 to November 2008, managing various portfolios such as Health and Education. Edward Picco's educational background includes a Certificate in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from Harvard Extension School and a Diploma in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University, among other qualifications.
