Peter Wedelheim brings extensive experience in leadership and commercial roles within the nutrition and beverage industries. Currently serving as a board member at Diætisthuset since July 2024, Peter has held the position of CEO at Nupo ApS since October 2017, leading a brand recognized as the market leader in Denmark with a significant 81% market share in VLCD weight loss products. Peter’s prior roles include CEO of Philipson Wine, and Commercial Director for Glanbia Performance Nutrition across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. With a background in management and marketing from Copenhagen Business School, Peter's career spans various key roles, including Sales Director at OSCAR A/S and responsibilities at companies such as MasterFoods and Tørsleff & Paradiso. Peter is also an ICF certified business and life coach, further enhancing managerial skills and leadership potential.

Nupo

Nupo - "To make life a positive experience for people while they're on a diet"​ In 1981, the leading Danish obesity researcher Dr. Flemming Quaade developed a solution that would change the lives of his overweight and obese patients. A formula to help them lose weight while providing all the nutrition the body needs. At the time, dieting generally meant abstaining from certain foods or from eating altogether. We knew that unhealthy and unbalanced diets negatively impacted people’s health and psychology, resulting in failed weight loss attempts and fatigue. In pursuit of our ambition to set a new standard for weight loss products, we innovated the Nupo Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD). The VLCD diet liberated dieting making it healthier for the body with products containing all the essential vitamins, minerals, proteins and fibers. Once the diet products were in place, we needed a compass to guide different lifestyles and diet preferences. The Nupo Point System was born out of this need. It removed strictness from dieting, making it flexible to the needs of every individual. Nupo Brick System liberated the mind from dieting, making it OK to eat the things that made you happy, as long as you stayed within the boundaries of your daily brick count. At the time, such adaptability was unheard of. Our goal has always been to help people maintain as normal a lifestyle as possible and still lose weight. That’s why Nupo is considered the world’s most comfortable diet.
