André Tavares started their work experience in 2020 as a Software Developer at Georgian College, where they were involved in the "Pepper Robot" project. In this role, their responsibilities included gathering requirements, designing and developing applications for the social Robot using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python. André also integrated the Robot's UI, speech recognition API, and hardware sensors using JS and Python. André Tavares presented a functional demo within 30 days, reaching an audience of over 300 people, and conducted extensive A/B testing to improve the user experience.

After their time at Georgian College, André Tavares worked as a Full-stack Developer at Tavares Web Solutions for the first half of 2021. Then, they joined Trustly as a Front-End Developer from June 2021 to December 2022. Currently, André Tavares is employed as a Front-End Developer at NuPort Robotics since December 2022.

André Tavares has a diverse education history with a focus on technology and engineering. André began their education in 2012 at UENF - Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense, where they obtained a Licentiate degree in Physics in 2017. In 2017, they continued their studies at IFF - Instituto Federal Fluminense, earning a Bachelor of Control and Automation Engineering with a specialization in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering in 2020.

Seeking further knowledge and skills in computer programming, André enrolled in Georgian College in 2019, completing a College Diploma in Computer Programming in 2021. In addition to their formal education, André has obtained several certifications to enhance their expertise. André obtained certifications including "Learning Google Cloud IoT Core" from LinkedIn in March 2020, "Full Stack Web Development with Flask" from LinkedIn in December 2019, "Learning Python" from LinkedIn in December 2019, and "Programming Foundations: Algorithms" from LinkedIn in June 2019.
