Fahim Salam

Fahim Salam has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2013. Fahim started their career as an Engineering Intern at HEXA Oil & Gas Services LLC, followed by a role as Board Advisor and Co-Founder and President at The Oil&Gas Initiative. In 2015, they took on two roles simultaneously, as Business Analyst and Product Development Lead at Pretzel (Pretzelapp.co) and as Quality Control and Material Testing Technician and Process Operator at Merlin Plastics Supply Inc. In 2016, they became Business Development Manager at Aurora Biomed. In 2017, they moved to VersaPay as a Business Development. In 2018, they joined IBM as a Technology Consultant | Digital iX - Mobile. In 2019, they became an Alumni at Accelerating Asia and Co-Founder and Chief of Product at Loop Freight. Finally, in 2021, they became the CEO at Nuport, a route optimization, distribution planning, and delivery orchestration platform for manufacturers and distributors.

Fahim Salam holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Chemical and Biological Engineering from The University of British Columbia. Fahim is also certified in IBM Agile Explorer, IBM Blockchain Essentials, Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner, Engineer In Training, Forklift Operation Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS). The certifications were obtained in 2018, 2015, and 2014 respectively.
