Jono Yap

Jono Yap has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Jono currently holds the position of Chief Product Officer and Chief Design Officer at Nura since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Product at Nura from February 2021 to February 2022. Before joining Nura, Jono worked as a Lead Product Design Engineer and Industrial Designer from November 2018 to February 2021. Jono began their tenure at Nura as a Product Design Engineer in January 2017. Jono also worked briefly as an Industrial Designer at Nura from October 2016 to December 2016.

Before their time at Nura, Jono worked as a Freelance Industrial Designer at Jonathan Yap from 2012 to September 2016. Additionally, they worked as an Industrial Designer at Copper I.D. from September 2014 to April 2015. Jono's earlier experience includes a research assistant role at Swinburne University of Technology from June 2014 to August 2014, as well as a work experience stint at Catalyst Design Group Pty. Ltd. in September 2006.

Jono Yap began their education at Camberwell Grammar School from 2003 to 2008, where they completed their VCE degree. Jono'sfield of study during this time included English, Mathematical Methods, Visual Communication and Design, Studio Arts, Chemistry, and Accounting.

After completing their VCE, Jono Yap attended Swinburne University of Technology from 2009 to 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Industrial Design. Jono'sfield of study during this period was focused on Industrial and Product Design.

In 2015, Jono Yap enrolled at Swinburne University of Technology once again, but this time to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Engineering. However, it appears that they withdrew from this program as the education history states [WITHDRAWN].
