Justin Lessard-Wajcer has a diverse work experience spanning various fields. Justin is currently the CEO of Nurau, a data-driven support system for the workforce. Justin has also been working as a Doctoral Candidate and Medical Researcher at McGill University, where they have been involved in biomedical engineering research and artificial intelligence research related to neurodevelopmental disorders. Justin has played a key role in the Fondation de l'hôpital général juif as the Director of Mindstrong and Co-Chairman. Justin has also founded Clarity Tech Lab, a company specializing in brain tissue sample clarification. Additionally, they have worked as a Project Consultant at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, President at Neuropresse, and Clinical Research Associate at the Lady Davis Institute of the Jewish General Hospital. Justin's experience also includes being a Founding Partner at WRY Real-Estate and a Student Ambassador at C2 Montréal. Justin started their career at Lessard Design + Associates as the Head of Business Development.
Justin Lessard-Wajcer has a strong educational background in the field of neuroscience. Justin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Neuroscience from Université de Montréal in 2019. Justin then pursued further education at McGill University, where they are currently working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Neuroscience, with an expected completion date in 2023. In addition to their academic pursuits, Justin has also obtained a Professional Certificate in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Harvard Business School in 2019.
Alongside their formal education, Justin has acquired various certifications and additional qualifications. Justin became a Corporate Member of Le Cercle Canadien de Montréal in August 2021. In October 2020, they obtained a Neuroscience Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate from the McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship. Justin also holds the title of Scientific Entrepreneur from the Fonds de recherche du Québec, obtained in June 2020. Further, Justin is a certified Mental Health Support Specialist from McGill University, achieved in October 2019. Additionally, they hold the Certified Member (CM) designation from The New York Academy of Sciences, received in April 2019. Justin is a certified Dive Master through PADI, obtained in May 2018. Justin has also completed certifications in Lab Animal Manipulation from McGill University in July 2017 and Biosecurity from Health Canada | Santé Canada in June 2017. Finally, in August 2016, Justin obtained the Magellan IT certification from Collège Jean De Brébeuf.
