Andreas Heger

Andreas Heger has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Andreas is currently the Head of Engineering at Nuritas since November 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at Genomics plc, including Senior Lead Scientist from April 2022 to November 2022, Principal Scientist/Manager from March 2020 to April 2022, and Senior Scientist (Manager) from October 2015 to March 2020.

Before joining Genomics plc, Andreas served as the Technical Director at CGAT in the MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine from July 2016 to March 2020. Andreas also held the same position at the MRC Functional Genomics Unit from August 2010 to July 2016.

Andreas began their research career at MRC in 2004, where they worked as a Researcher until July 2010. Andreas also served as an Investigator Scientist at the MRC Functional Genetics Unit during the same period.

Prior to joining MRC, Andreas worked as a Scientist at the University of Helsinki from August 2002 to August 2004. Andreas began their professional journey as a PhD Student at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory from 1998 to 2002.
