Shweta Shah

Shweta Shah has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies.

Starting in 2002, Shweta completed their Ph.D at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, focusing on researching highly active enzyme forms for biochemical transformations and developing strategies to enhance the catalytic efficiency, stability, and reusability of bio-catalysts.

From 2008 to 2022, Shweta worked at Iowa State University, first as a Post Doctoral Research Associate and later as a Staff Scientist. Shweta'sresponsibilities included various research projects such as the identification and characterization of ribonucleo-protein complex in potatoes, elucidating signal transduction pathways, and proteomic analysis in plant systems.

In 2018, Shweta joined Kemin Industries as the Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Manager, where they contributed to the global regulatory and scientific affairs. Eventually, they became the Global Regulatory and Scientific Affairs Manager before leaving in September 2022.

Currently, Shweta serves as the Head of Regulatory Affairs-Americas at Nuritas, starting in September 2022.

From 2003 to 2007, Shweta attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where they obtained a Ph.D in Chemistry.

Between 2001 and 2002, Shweta pursued an M.Tech degree in Modern Methods of Chemical Analysis at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

From 1998 to 2000, Shweta studied Organic Chemistry at Banaras Hindu University, earning an M.Sc.

Furthermore, in February 2022, Shweta obtained certification as a RAPS Member from the Regulatory Affairs Certification Program.
