Anokha Ratnayake

Anokha Ratnayake, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of chemistry. Anokha currently serves as the Director of Discovery Chemistry at Nurix Therapeutics since 2023. Previously, they worked at Pfizer, where they held various roles including Senior Principal Scientist, Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and VP of Public Relations. Before joining Pfizer, Anokha worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Utah from 2003 to 2006. Anokha also gained experience as a Graduate Student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 1998 to 2003. Their early career includes being an Educational Assistant in Chemistry at The Open University of Sri Lanka in 1996, and an MSc student at Imperial College London from 1994 to 1995.

Anokha Ratnayake, PhD, completed an MSc degree in Organic Synthesis at Imperial College London from 1994 to 1995. Anokha then pursued their PhD in Natural Product Research and Organic Synthesis at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, which they obtained from 1998 to 2003. Following this, they completed a postdoctorate in Chemistry at the University of Utah from 2003 to 2006.
