John Lin

John Lin has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on research informatics and data systems. John is currently the Head of Research Informatics at Nurix Therapeutics, where they began in May 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Data Systems and Technology at Nektar Therapeutics from January 2019 to April 2021. From 2012 to 2019, John held various roles at Five Prime Therapeutics, including Director of Systems Engineering and Associate Director of Software Engineering. John also worked at Novartis as a Senior Software Development Specialist from 2008 to 2012 and at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory as a Scientific Informatics Developer from 2007 to 2008.

John Lin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley from 1996 to 2000. John then pursued a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University from 2005 to 2006.
