Kara Chen

Kara Chen has a diverse work experience. Kara started their career as an intern at Capital Securities in 2007. Kara then had internships at KPMG in 2009 and 2011. In 2012, they joined KPMG US as a Senior Audit Associate and worked there until 2014. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at Effectus Group, starting as a Senior Associate and progressing to Senior Manager. In 2020, they joined Atium Advisory as a Consultant. Currently, they hold the position of AD of Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting at Nurix Therapeutics, a role they started in September 2021. Kara then became the Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting at Nurix Therapeutics in July 2023.

Kara Chen completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from Georgetown University in 2012. In 2013, they obtained their CPA certification from the California Board of Accountancy.
