Jake Desaegher

Jake DeSaegher, CPA, is an accomplished finance professional specializing in SEC reporting and technical accounting. Currently serving as the Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting at Beta Bionics since April 2025, Jake previously held the position of Senior Manager in Accounting at ATEC Spine, where significant achievements included leading a comprehensive SAP implementation, enhancing internal controls for various accounting areas, and redesigning the sales tax process. Jake's extensive experience at EY included managing complex technical accounting transactions for biotech and pharmaceutical clients and conducting audits of new accounting standards. Jake received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the Fermanian School of Business at Point Loma Nazarene University, complemented by a brief academic stint at the University of Auckland.
