Igor Nazarenko

Igor Nazarenko is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development, compiler development, and systems architecture. At Nuro since April 2020, Igor focuses on software engineering within the planning division. Previously, at Google from September 2011 to March 2020, Igor held the position of Staff Software Engineer, contributing to the Pixel Visual Core team and Google Earth Engine. Prior to this, Igor was a Principal Software Engineer at Complete Genomics, where significant contributions included implementing a cluster manager and designing a data processing pipeline. Igor began the career at Hyperion Solutions as a Distinguished Software Engineer, focusing on the development of the Essbase OLAP database kernel. A brief tenure as an Architect at Oracle Corporation followed the acquisition of Hyperion. Igor holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Kharkiv State University, Ukraine.
