Peijun Zhu

Peijun Zhu is a Senior Software Engineer at Nuro since January 2022, specializing in machine learning training for the Behavior Foundation Model and modernizing the tech stack from TensorFlow/Keras to PyTorch and TPU. Peijun also contributes to the Compute Platform team, developing a scalable and reliable computing platform to enhance autonomy development, and has experience in making large-scale cloud simulations more efficient and cost-effective. Prior experience includes a Software Engineer role at Electronic Arts (EA) from February 2020 to January 2022, focusing on data pipelines and backend development, as well as an SDE internship at Amazon Web Services (AWS) where work involved processing CloudFront performance logs. Peijun Zhu holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China, along with a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Pittsburgh.
