At Chevron, Yanbin Zhang led the development of web APIs and micro-services for reservoir simulation environments, focusing on integration with cloud-based services and workflows while implementing innovative physics-based data-driven technologies for shale well performance analysis. Yanbin Zhang's consultancy work involved providing simulations for major capital projects such as Jack & St Malo and Tengiz & Korolev, optimizing production strategies through advanced modeling techniques. Yanbin Zhang completed a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, complemented by a Master’s degree in the same field from the same institution and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Peking University.
