Marcin Borratynski

Marcin Borratynski is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quantitative finance and portfolio management. Currently serving as a Senior Quant Strategist and Portfolio Manager at Evooq since December 2022, Marcin previously held significant roles at CERN Pension Fund, including Senior Quant Strategist (CIO) and Head of Quant IT, where achievements included developing a quantitative asset allocation system managing over 4 billion CHF and designing an outperforming algorithmic investment strategy. Earlier experience encompasses roles as a Programmer Analyst at CERN Pension Fund, contributing to asset allocation and risk management, and a Software Developer at AGH University of Science and Technology, focused on DICOM file processing. Marcin’s educational background includes a Master of Science in International Management and Finance from the University of Geneva, complemented by studies at Jagiellonian University and AGH University of Krakow.
