Antti Yrjönen

Antti Yrjönen is a seasoned visual communications specialist and staff photographer at Finn Church Aid since August 2021, with a focus on international photography and video assignments, staff training, and documentary work in diverse regions including Ukraine, Syria, South Sudan, Kenya, and Uganda. Antti also serves as a contributing photographer and photojournalist for Helsingin Sanomat and has a robust freelance career that began in March 2013, providing press photography to agencies, newspapers, and NGOs. With extensive experience as a contributing photographer for various media outlets such as Suomen Tietotoimisto STT and ZUMA Press, Antti's educational background includes a Bachelor of Social Science in Photojournalism from the University of Tampere.
